Partners in Ministry
There are many other Christians we work with in various ministries.
We work with our many friends, neighbours, brothers and sisters in the Lord in the following churches:
Douglas Baptist Church; Burtts Corner United Baptist Church; Keswick Ridge United Church; the Anglican churches in the Parish of Bright
We are one of 30 churches in York Association of Atlantic Baptist Churches
Our organization into Associations of churches is how we do work on ministries bigger than the local church.
We are A member of the Convention of Atlantic Baptist Churches
Our Convention consists of more than 66,000 baptized members working together through 546 local churches in 21 associations across the Atlantic provinces. It is "composed of those bodies which have agreed to work together upon the basis of the historic Baptist position that the Bible is the all-sufficient ground of faith and practice"
We support the many projects of Canadian Baptist Ministries
We are a member of the Baptist World Alliance

What We Believe
There have been a number of creeds and statements of faith through the centuries that we affirm with all Christians. Our church has a Doctrinal Statement of Faith in our church constitution. It is very similar to the Basis of Union by which two groups of Baptists agreed to put their differences behind them and join together in 1905 / 1906.
I should make it clear that we regard the scriptures of the old and new testaments form the sole definite and complete doctrinal statement of faith for this church.
The statement of faith in our church constitution is one we can change or add to at any time by agreement of the church people as we see issues about which we need to give clear teaching.
For membership in our church we ask that Believers, baptized by immersion, affirm our statement of faith and agree to our church covenant.
