What does PASAGE stand for?

PASAGE stands for Preventing Addiction; Substance Abuse and Gambling Education. We are affiliated with the United Way.

Where can I find information about drug education?

PASAGE is proud to offer a wide variety of books, cassettes, and videos related to Drugs, Parenting and Self Help. All resources can be signed out. Come in and browse!

How can I get involved?

PASAGE is always looking for people interested in becoming involved with drug education. Memberships for PASAGE are only twenty dollars annually and donations to PASAGE are tax deductible. You can also become a volunteer and assist at information tables, become a board member, committee member, help with office work and special events. Who is PASAGE there to help?

PASAGE is there to help not only parents but also kids and teens. PASAGE is available for schools, youth groups, parenting groups, and many other types of institutes for presentations. The presentations can be tailored to meet your needs. Topics range from How to Say No To Drugs; How to Talk to Your Children About Drugs; Marijuana Prevention; to having a speaker discuss his or her own drug addiction and recovery.

When are PASAGE's hours of operation?

8:30 to 4:00 Monday to Friday. Special appointments can be made if you cannot make it during those hours.

How do I make a donation to PASAGE Saint John Inc?

PASAGE Saint John Inc. is a non profit organization formed in 1984 by a group of citizens concerned about drug abuse in our community. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Please make cheques payable to PASAGE Saint John Inc.

PASAGE also has pewter Millennium Dome ornaments available. These ornaments are in honor of the Saint John General Hospital, a familiar landmark in the Saint John area until 1995. These make a lovely gift and can be purchased for just $10.00. Please send orders directly to PASAGE Saint John Inc., along with a cheque for $10.00 plus shipping costs of $1.25.
