Too Cool For Drugs

Written by Sharon Scott and Wayne Hindmarsh.

Nicholas and his real life friends educate kinder- garten to grade four children about the harmful effects of drugs. He teaches the skills necessary to manage negative peer pressure. Topics such as: What Drugs Are to the Effects Drugs Have on a Growing Body are presented. Trained volunteers have knowledge and enthusiasm to present "TOO COOL FOR DRUGS" in a manner that will make this serious subject fun to learn.

How To Say 'NO' and Keep Your Friends

From the book by Sharon Scott.

This program, aimed at children in grades 5-8, offers techniques on how to avoid negative peer pressure. By learning "peer pressure reversal" skills and knowing that saying 'NO' is okay, children will be better prepared for the peer pressures they face daily as they grow into teenagers.
