Wearable Symbols

Hello!
My name is Timothy Finley. I have been hand crafting precious metal jewellery for over 30 years. I have a great love of design and the intricacy of line and form from earlier eras. I think you will notice that in both my production pieces and in the one of a kind work you will see on these pages.

If you see something which inspires the designer within you, let me help you bring that most fulfilling part of you into form as we work together to fashion something wonderful for you to wear with pride or give generously to some lucky person. Custom work is easier than you might think too. I want you to be thoroughly satisfied and so I will make a piece over again if I don't quite see the same image as you on the first go round.

My interest in spiritually meaningful symbols led me to develop an affordable line of symbolic jewellery as well. The Names, Talismans, Zodiac symbols and Healing Stones are available for purchase. You can also request a symbol that is meaningful to you to be special ordered at equally reasonable prices. The descriptions of each symbol are included on this website, for your information.

I warrantee all my work unconditionally. Your satisfaction is more important to me than your money - silly as it sounds!!!

I have been experiencing some technical difficulties with my order forms and for the next little while I will ask you to call, e-mail, fax or snail mail me to order what you desire. I am happy to accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express as well as money orders and personal cheques in Canadian Funds. Personally I prefer to meet you over the phone if possible because the personal touch is why I do this work in the first place. Still, what you prefer is what matters most.

Enjoy my site and feel free to offer any feedback, comments and suggestions you come up with while you look around.

Tim

Tim:

Thank you so VERY MUCH for my charm. I'm EXTREMELY happy with it. Your site will be recommended to a few friends of mine who are into that sort of thing more than I. Exceeded my expectations! You've made my day, and have ended my quest.

Thanks so much again!!!!!!

~Annette Baldao, Quincy Mass.

A single approach to knowing Layers in Photoshop is to visualize you've got thin transparent sheets of glass, these are typically our Layers. For this instance, lets say 3 Layers. Just one of these Layers will probably be your history. The background Layer stays in position. All of the Layers will likely be stacked on top off the history Layer permitting you to check out via on the track record image. So imagine of it as browsing down through your stacks of transparent sheets of glass in the leading sheet down by way of in your qualifications sheet.

Your qualifications Layer is an picture of a rose. You are able to set a Layer using a photo of a hummingbird around the image in the rose, creating it appear that the hummingbird is hovering around the rose. You may require to position your hummingbird to produce the effect you desire.

You may need to add rain drops, therefore you will consider a further Layer with all the picture from the raindrops and place it on prime in the pictures of the hummingbird and the rose. Inside stacking order inside the Layers Panel every single Layer could have the look of getting stacked on best of every other but while in the picture window these stacks look to become flattened, giving it the illusion of just the one photo.

Layers interact with each other by way of Opacity, (Opacity refers into the volume of transparency a Layer has). You'll be able to set the Opacity to finish transparency or opaque, that means you can't see by means of it. By adjusting the Opacity settings it is possible to have your background Layer partially exhibit as a result of the top Layer. The greater you adjust the options toward 0% Opacity, the top Layer will become extra transparent, permitting much more on the background Layer to display by.

Now Let us say you want to change the shade from the rose. You do all of your edits on the rose on that just one Layer, therefore you could make problems or simply delete or change it with another flower. Every edit is completed on someone Layer, which means you'll be able to go back and edit that certain Layer with out the remainder of your operate being impacted.

You can also change the stacking order while in the Layers Panel. By shifting the stacking order you may hold the rain show up either behind or in front on the hummingbird.

It is possible to turn each individual Layer on and off by clicking around the 'eye icon' subsequent on the Layer you are working on. So if we wished to see what the photo would appearance like without the need of the rain, you just click on to the 'eye icon' next for the Layer with all the picture in the rain on it turning that Layer off, producing the Layer invisible.

The Layers are organized and shown from the 'Layer's Panel' that's normally into the proper of one's image. You can even move the panel approximately. By maintaining the panel noticeable you may tell which Layer you're operating on simply by glancing around and viewing which Layer is highlighted.

In my retouching tutorials I get the reader via the process of whitening the eyes, cleaning up blemishes using the Healing Brush, Airbrushing away people shiny patches and tidying the hair. If the new or comparatively new for the ideas of Adobe Photoshop Aspects 8, then this overview will help you have an understanding of some great benefits of operating with Layers all the way through these processes.
